Indians agree to trade:
Michael Bourn (75 ovr B potential CF, 31)
Lonnie Chisenhall (74 OVR B potential 3B, 25)
Jose Ramirez (71 OVR C potential 2B, 21)

Pirates agree to trade:
Pedro Alvarez (75 OVR B potential 3B, 27)
Russel Martin (76 OVR B potential C, 31)
Travis Snider (66 OVR C potential RF, 26)

I would like to also emphasize the point, before voting, that Martin and Snider are both going to be bench warmers for me, thus will never play. Pittsburgh on the other hand will be getting 3 players that can already plug and play in the order

Yes the trade is fair on paper but then again we aren't only supposed to vote on fairness. I really dont see the point of this trade for either team and it sets a bad precedent. Remember this is a sim league and we don't want it to turn into fantasy baseball. We really don't want to lower the amount of trading allowed but if we see more trades like this we're going to have to. My vote is no.

You should see it from our sides. Pirates are getting 3 great RHP bats which they need. They also need a SS (ramirez) and a 3B who can grab ground balls (chisenhall) something my 3B cant do. I disagree omes.

Bourn is my LF corner who can hit against RHP, something Marte can't do. Marte can hit against RHP, and he'll be in those games. I have a platoon in place, a 3B who can field, a shortstop of the future, and 3 RHP bats. I believe you didn't look into my team as much as I know them.

This is one of those trades where you have to make a statement one way or another. Yeah there's no way in a million years the Pirates would trade Alvarez or Martin, but this isn't real life. So at some point you either have to decide to factor in realism, or completely ignore it. Since I'm not in the league at present I'll abstain from voting.
